module 1: introduction to book marketing basics

Feeling overwhelmed about all there is to know when it comes to book marketing? I’ve got your covered!

This introductory lesson will go through all you will learn by the end of this course, from what an “author platform” really is, how to use social media, how to throw a launch event, and so much more.

module 2: basic author platform building

I’m sure you’ve heard the word “platform” before when it comes to being an author, but what does that really mean? What platforms are right for you and your book?

This module will take you through all you need to know to make informed and sustainable decisions for your own author platform.

module 3: endorsements & timing

By the time you’ve figured out your platform, you’re going to want to start focusing on generating some buzz for your book. That’s where endorsements come in. This module will help you understand why endorsements are important and some easy ways to get them.

When the platform and endorsement wheels are in motion, it’s a good time to stop and think about how this all comes together from a timing standpoint. The timeline in this module will help you make informed decisions about your book’s launch timing.  

module 4: using & maintaining a content calendar

Ever heard of a content calendar? Before I published my first book, I hadn’t either. But I’m here to tell you it’s the single most sanity-saving tool you can have when it comes to marketing your book!

This module will cover why a content calendar is so important for authors, and exactly how to use one.

module 5: your launch event

The “event” you choose to launch your book can be anything you want it to be. So how do you know what is the best way to launch your book so you can get maximum profits?

This module will cover your launch event options (you have MANY!) and how to make the right choices for you.

module 6: the wrap up

Phew! I know it seems like a lot of work to build your platform and launch your book, but trust me when I say that when you’re intentional with your efforts that work can be incredibly fulfilling.
